Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups cooked rice (cooked in beef broth)
- 1 10-ounce package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed, drained
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed thyme leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Brown beef and onion in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in rice, broccoli, 1/2cup cheese, salt, thyme, pepper, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
- Turn into buttered 2-quart baking dish; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake at 350 degrees 20 to 25 minutes.
